Man Ejected From Park for Sporting Ron Paul Bumper Sticker

Turns out Ron Paul supporters are indeed deemed 'Enemies of the State'

BLACKSBURG, S.C
The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a 73-year-old Virginia resident who was allegedly ordered by a park ranger to remove his car from a national military park in South Carolina because of political messages attached to his vehicle. Jack Faw, whose ancestors fought in the historic battle memorialized at Kings Mountain National Military Park, contacted The Rutherford Institute after being told by a park ranger that the decal promoting a political organization associated with Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), which was displayed on the back window of Faw's car, was not allowed in the park.
We must assume, therefore, any bumper sticker depicting Obama and any associated 'political organization' such as Organizing for America would also constitute grounds for dismissal from a nation park. This despite the fact he is the current sitting president.

Conservative Jewish Columnist Admits Christians Treated Worse in Soviet Gulags

Dennis Prager- Townhall
Over time, the plight of the Soviet Jews awakened me to the plight of all Soviet dissidents, whether secular ones -- such as that great man, the physicist Andrei Sakharov -- or Christian.
The latter were particularly persecuted. Though my work was with Soviet Jewry, I had no trouble acknowledging that Soviet Christians often had it worse. Few Soviet Jews were killed or locked away in dungeon-like conditions by the Soviet authorities, but Soviet Christians were.

UPDATE: 'Deadly' Use of Force Against WISC Protestors

Mother Jones reports
Update: Indianapolis-area TV station WLFI reports that the Indiana deputy attorney general “is no longer employed by the agency.” Mother Jones will provide continuing updates and screen captures of the now-defunct blog here.
On Saturday night, when Mother Jones staffers tweeted a report that riot police might soon sweep demonstrators out of the Wisconsin capitol building—something that didn’t end up happening—one Twitter user sent out a chilling public response: “Use live ammunition.”
From my own Twitter account, I confronted the user, JCCentCom. He tweeted back that the demonstrators were “political enemies” and “thugs” who were “physically threatening legally elected officials.” In response to such behavior, he said, “You’re damned right I advocate deadly force.” He later called me a “typical leftist,” adding, “liberals hate police.”

Troopers Would ‘Absolutely’ Use Force on Wisc. Protesters If Ordered

opED News
Amid the largest protests Madison, Wisconsin has seen in decades, newly elected Republican Gov. Scott Walker last week issued a stark message to public labor unions occupying the capitol building: we have options, and using the National Guard against protesters is among them.
And according to a Wisconsin police union president, whether the police agree or disagree with their governor's politics, they would "absolutely" carry out any order given to them ... even if that order included using force against their fellow Americans gathered in peaceful protest.

Editorial: Are Google & Facebook Arms of the United States Government?

TIL has covered internet privacy issues in great detail in the past. With the mainstay of online social networking and its literal life/death importance in the daily lives of over 1/6 of the entire world population, few spend time to THINK about the venerability users subject themselves to during regular internet activities.

Infowars.com has compiled excellent research detailing the extent of the United States government in cahoots with corporate America working against... (more)

Establishment Criticizes Iran as Right to Free Assembly in U.S. is Challenged

american3p
... the U.S. State Department has criticized Iranian officials for working against peaceful assembly in Tehran.
Showcasing the American establishment’s hypocrisy on matters of free speech, the US State Department called on Iran “to allow people to enjoy [the] same universal rights to peacefully assemble, demonstrate as in Cairo”, in a Twitter message written in Farsi and directed at the Iranian people.
